So… I’m working to get this collective up on it’s feet foreal. I’m looking for people to work with me on creating a better website to help the collective function at it’s best, people to help scout great artists to join the collective and get people into it, and for the artists in the collective to send in information if they haven’t yet as well as start using the site if they want to! Hi, I’m Lauren Poor. I’m a photography student in NYC and my dreaming, hopeful outlook on the world has caused me to want/need to start a collective. I see this website as a great resource in creating a network of motivated and inspired artists who will be able to feed off of each other’s creativity and keep growing, learning and creating. This collective has the potential to extend through different countries digitally as well as get people from specific locations working together physically. Collaboration can thrive in either one of these situations and I hope to take advantage of every resource available to artists today. I humbly wish to oversee this website as a way to accomplish all that I wish for: creative collaboration, connection, motivation, diverse/boundary-crossing artistic relationships, experimentation, inclusive mindsets, variety in perspective and much more.

Artists in this collective are able to post ideas for collaboration, learn about artists near or far from them, work through the internet or close by, contact other artists with ideas, respond to posts and generally get in touch with other searching minds.

Options for collaboration I imagine may include: video/film, photographic, any type of traditional art, audio, 3D anything, experimental projects, social commentaries, magazines, events, galleries, street art and a never-ending amount more.
